Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) is a bioactive substance composed of low molecular weight DNA fragments, typically obtained through biotechnology extraction and purification from natural sources. Traditionally, PDRN is mostly derived from fish (such as salmon or trout) DNA extracts. However, with the development of bioengineering technology, it can now also be obtained through plant-derived DNA extraction or bio-fermentation technology, thus providing more diverse and sustainable raw material sources for cosmetics and medical aesthetic products.
PDRN has excellent skin repair and regeneration support effects, promoting skin cell activity, helping to improve skin barrier function, and providing moisturizing and soothing effects for damaged or dry skin. At the same time, this ingredient helps improve skin elasticity and smoothness, making the skin look healthier and more delicate.
Applications: PDRN is widely used in medical aesthetic repair products, anti-aging skincare products, serums, repair masks, post-operative care products, functional skincare products, and high-end skincare formulas. It is suitable for improving dry, sensitive, and damaged skin conditions.
